We actively promote the use of FSC* certified items and environmentally-friendly materials.

In all our logistics, we optimize transportation efficiency to minimise delivery trips.Besides that, we encourage the use of refillable products at our bookshops and strive to digitize whenever we can to minimise the usage of paper.

As part of our corporate social responsibility, Pacific Bookstores is making the switch to use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified items by replacing non-certified and non-controlled materials.

The FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. Our products bear the FSC logo, giving you the assurance that the product has been made from responsible sources. As one of the largest school bookshop operators in Singapore, how we conduct our business has a lasting impact on the environment.

 

 

Our communities are what made us who we are today.

We give back to communities via sponsorships to organisations and organise our Company Charity Day by having our people contribute time and financial support to lower income groups.

Last but not least, we form partnerships with non-profit organisations to co-organise stationery fairs by offering value for money price to lower income families (NTUC BTS Stationery Fair).

 

 

Education is at the core of what we stand for.

We provide free textbooks and stationery for lower income families and strive to bring in quality education products. Besides that, we make education affordable by partnering with key vendors to offer attractive promotions regularly. Lastly, we form partnerships with NGOs such as NTUC U-Care and CDAC for the redemption of their BTS vouchers.

 

 

Safety is of utmost paramount importance to us.

We provide one-stop service to schools to reduce vehicle usage as well as implement effective SOP with care for material and product design to ensure our products are safe.

We ensure our internal processes and product packaging meet safety requirements.
